Club Meeting at Rizal

Club President Gerry Ong isn't about to hurl the eraser to an inattentive member. No, there just was no gavel available. So Gerry made the Call to Order with a @#$%^&* whiteboard eraser! :)

KT Orfianno led the Invocation and Toastmasters' Pledge. That was a very well prepared Invocation!

VP Education Mic Tuason as the ever reliable Toastmaster of the Day.

Maricel delivered her Speech Project #3 entitled "The Nursing Profession" and described how it is to be a nurse. Dr. Noy delivered his speech entitled "Beginning with the End in Mind" which told the inspiring story of Dr. Noy's perseverance to attain his goals in life. Les evaluated Dr. Noy's speech.

Charter Installation of Kimberly-Clark Phils. TMC

Tonight was the Charter Installation of the Kimberly Clark Philippines Toastmasters Club. The meeting was held at the Poquito Mas Restaurant at Westgate Alabang. Theme for the club meeting was "Genesis" and a very apt word for the event. Attending the event from ON Semiconductor were Dr. Noy and Les. Richard from Metro Drug was also there. Governors in attendance were Rema Manzano, Khris Albano, Beth Pableo and Lolet Gabay.

Attending the event from ON Semiconductor were Dr. Noy and Les. Richard from MetroDrug was also there.

Immediate Past Div.H Governor Dr. Noy delivered the Keynote Address which also served as his Farewell Speech. He assured the club that they were in "good hands" with the present crop of governors and officers. Club President Jess Mariano in his Inaugural Speech exhorted the officers and members to continue being committed to the club. His delivery was overflowing with excitement and enthusiasm that the speech exceeded the time allotment. :)

Dr. Noy was the General Evaluator for the night and Les evaluated a Prepared Speech Speaker - Hanika Dimaano. The title of her speech was "Ma Flamme" (French for "My Passion"). Midway, Les' evaluation turned humorous when he said "When I went through your body, (pause), no, not YOUR body..." Of course he was referring to the body of the speech, but that didn't stop the audience from breaking into laughter. The laughter took so long that Les' evaluation speech went on overtime. There was a vote for the Best Speaker and adjudged as the speaker of the night was Bernadette Villanueva. The KCPI Toastmasters were very happy in their Charter Installation and gave out tokens to the guests. The meeting ended at 10:30pm.
